sounds like the decision is made. it is very difficult to convert while living in the bus. maybe you could find a nice winter place to rent and find some helping hands to do the carpentry. good luck
we love our buses!!! NE Pa or LI NY, or somewhere in between!

Just listening to your post over the last 6 months I know you have grown in knowledge and have developed a new skill level..you don't realize it now..you have..take care of family and self first!! then if----- you come to a point in life you want to do it again you will have the tools to be successful..You are a graduate BusNut....good luck in life  and until we meet again.  Bob

If the bus is what everyone wants...or is at least OK with it, why not rent an apartment while you work on the bus and learn carpentry? I heard once that the hardest part of any job is STARTING! There's a lot of truth in that. I say just start. If it turns out less than perfect, and you get no awards to hang on those walls...so what? Maybe some future owner will critique your work...so what? IF it is what YA'LL want, then maybe you should reconsider...food for thought.

why dont you go to the local high-school wood class and see if they would like to do the woodwork on your bus for a donation?
