Anyone live in the Atlanta MI area , prefered shop(s) in same area ?

Close to locking down a deal on a 4104 and intend to drive it back to Kansas.  Curious if anyone from the board lives near there that could look it over and give me some feedback.  Also need to know of a shop or two that could do an inspection and basic service before driving it home.

Atlanta is about 3 hours north of a bus rally in Clio MI.  I don't know of any shops up there, and it's really in the middle of nowhere.  I believe there is a shop in Clio that has been gracious to put one of our member's coaches over a pit.  Any chance you are looking to pick it up between next Wednesday and the following Sunday?  8/18-8/22.   I, Jack Conrad, and many others will be in Clio.  You would never have a better bunch available and willing to look at it.  Perhaps some of us could be talked into making a day trip...

An even better idea would be for Bill and the driver to both attend the rally! That way the owner could prove it's road worthiness, plus have the bus on site where the gurus such as you and Jack could go over it and ask & answer questions! Then Bill could head home from there. WIN/WIN

Don't know if I have the patients to wait till Oct.  Kinda hoping to do something a bit sooner.  I'm going to contact a diesel shop in Alpena that the widow stated the husband was going to use for the shepard steering conversion and see if they will do an inspection and service for me.
