11r 24.5 tire prices again.

I just put 2 new steer tires on. 11R24.5 Firestone FS590's. They ran about $376 each. I had the rims blasted and painted for $45 each, also. And they gave me $100 and threw in the
mounting for a brand new Goodyear lug tire I had for a spare that I didn't need. Total bill was $843 including stems and balancing.

That sounds like a pretty good price for FS590s.  That price is about $20 or $30 more per tire than I paid in 2006 for the same tires.  We all know tire prices have gone nowhere but up since 2006.  Where did you get these if I may ask?  I'll need to get my rims repainted when I need tires in a few more years.

My backyard gets little sun so tires on my rarely used vehicles last a long time.  My trailer tires were new in 2001.  No cracks yet.  I had them inspected at a tire shop last year and they said no reason to replace them yet.

Okay , Nobody ever seems to mention Kumho tires. I took off aset of them a year ago because of age 10 years. None of them worn out , none had sidewall cracks. I still have them on the steel wheels. Put back on the same tire 8 of them 11 r 24.5 KRS02. $284.84
Had the same name tire on an MCI -5a and a 4106, never any issues . Hated to take off the Eagle just that age date.

Royal Tire. I went to the one in Monticello, but they have several locations around the cities.
