I used to try to make things idiot proof so that other people wouldn't screw things up.  Now, more and more often, I become the idiot.

I'm with ya Len!!!!!!!!      More than you know!! 

But, and I may be waaaaaay wrong here, as long as there is only one cord to plug in, and that goes to the main on the panel, isn't that fool proof?? Or does by sheer virtue of the fact that there is another breaker somewhere,  you have another "bond"?? If that's the case........... oh man. I'd change it as I know I'd screw up at some point.
Now when he goes "automatic" then I believe he will have to rethink the whole system and do what is correct then.
