hope to see it at Bus'N USA next week. I was looking at Swan Lake when I drove by Saturday to see if it was still there.

When you were in Vernon on the weekend to pick it up,you and Valerie should have dropped in . Ron and Linda stayed over in their MC-7. We would have liked to have seen it.

That's sure a gorgeous coach, JC.  Hope you get many years of use from it.

Best regards.

Gary, you were just in San Francisco. I didn't think you'd be  back so soon, or I would've called.

Very nice looking coach JC.

Wow, perhaps the sharpest MC-5 I've seen to date!

Amazing how a new dash (and just about new-everything else), can make an old coach's interior look so much more up to date. Dash upgrade is now on my to-do list.

As others have said, great looking coach. I hope you get many miles and days of enjoyment with it.

Nice looking ride....I don't really like modern RV style interiors but that one is a nice blend of old and new.  And the exterior is sharp, when I was a kid I always like the 3 axle buses...but these days I like the shorter (? is this a 35') buses and I prefer the clean look of a single rear axle, they jsut look sportier to me.

I do love a nice 5C, and that one is prime!  I am staying with the bus windows on mine, for the exterior look, but that really makes me pause and reconsider...  I do like the dash and front interior.  I would love to see a picture of the engine install, to see how it was handled.  My sedan door came from what I think was an ex-Brewster bus.

OK I'll take some pics today of the engine, and more of the interior.

My preference would have been for a stock looking 5, as I don't really like too much motorhome looking mods such as roof raise and after market windows, being an old bus driver you know... But this one is well done and looks good, actually still looks like a bus. It has a 8 inch raise, MC9 caps and Penensula windows. The interior will be hard to keep clean at dirt bike races, (it is either dusty or muddy). I'll have to insist everyone take their boots and muddy gear off outside the door. And I would've prefered a side isle, but hey, the whole thing is so nice and well done, it'll do!

That is a nice looking machine.  Hope it runs well for you.  Have fun!

I looked at that bus in Baker City Oregan in Sept of 1996.  It was owed by a couple that also had a 4104.  I believe that they were the ones that had the bus re-powered and converted.  After they had made a few trips in the bus they decided that they liked the 4104 better and put the five up for sale.  I test drove the bus from Baker City to La Grand.  The bus drove great and pulled Ladd Canyon grade over 50 mph.  It was just like new then and still looks that way in your pics.  They were asking $125k and I opted not to purchase the bus.  I thought it was a bit high for a 35 footer.  Still looks great and good luck.  P.S.  I remembered the bus from the painting on the back.

Nicely done! I like the dash. I did not think a 740 would fit in one of those.

Need a few more picks. I was just in invermere a few weeks ago, next time I will certainly track you down if thats OK.
Ok, it's time to go on another road trip.

Yes, the 740 will fit behind a 6v.  It will not fit behind an 8v though without extending the back of the bus.
You don't have to believe everything you think.
