Clifford we have all felt the same thing going thru this life.   From homes to special cars that we have sold.

You have eluded in many of your recent posts that you have a few IRON's in the fire.   I'd like to see you in a new H345 for pennies on the dollar.

Goodluck..

Lin

Well Clifford, now that you sold your bus, you can tell us what you really think about Eagles.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

Clifford, your not defined by your bus but by who you are and your respect goes far beyond your ride.

Lin, to be 100% truthful we have owned Prevost,MCI ,BlueBirds and the S&S hands down the Eagle was the best by far and the 96 Prevost was the worst with the independent front suspension that was the first year for that front end 14 years later Prevost is still working on the front and Eagle has used it since 1957 without problems.

Zero, I am thinking about a H-45 to resale it is solid black like yours Mike is getting some graphic photo's to send to me if I am going to resale I don't want to leave it solid black and the bedroom layout Vantre did was stupid so I have Larry working on that.
Talking with Dick Wright he seems to think at the price I am paying I can make a few bucks unless the market keeps dropping fwiw it has 2 slides on a VIP shell and Dick offered to help me turn it.
I haven't heard back on the MCI and the other Prevost yet but if I was going to keep one it would be the MCI4500 very nice bus.
These coaches are going down like rock in water the over a million dollar coaches are selling now a 800,000 Marathon is only building 12 a year you can buy a brand new never driven coach there that is 3 years old only 3 or 4 converters left in that market

Clifford,

I had a suspicion you'd say that.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

Clifford,

First off I am sorry that we never got a chance to see it :'(. The pics that I saw were gorgeous!

I am sure that it would be a very emotional time for you all. I can't imagine what that would be like. I also agree that you should get another :).

Anyways, thanks for all of the help that you have not only given me, but the info that you have given everybody else.

I hope we get a chance to meet you all someday.

God bless,

John

I have had the pleasure of seeing thier Eagle many times and it always amazed me! I'm glad it went to a good home!

I hate it that you chose to sell it, but I'm selfish. As I've gotten to know you and Sonja over the past few years, I always look forward to the next time. I just hope you don't dissapear from our radar.

You are one heck of a friend, hope to see you guys again soon.

I dread the day we have to make that decision.

I guess there comes a point in each life where we examine what we are doing and how we are doing it and while I appreciate the changing of the keys I see the need for your knowledge here on the board, I've learned so much about my iggle just by reading and I'm sure the others echo that thought.  I've reexamined my short term goals here as well, I won't be selling my bus but I've found a little friend that I've decided needs help far more than I need fuel, we'll be doing fundraisers and whatever we can for the little guy to get him the surgury that he needs.  We've always been a soft touch for kids but lately we seem to have been driven to help them, I have no appreciable knowledge of mechanical things like buses but I can make a lot of noise with the DJ equipment and sawdust projects and that seems to be helping some kids in small ways so changes in direction seems to be in fashion right now, at least for a little bit lol. I've met several here on the board and am looking forward to meeting you and sonja at some point.

Cody, well put. For those that have not had the pleasure to view Big Bird" ( name lovingly bestowed upon it by his beautiful grand children) all is not lost, just make plans for ( Here comes the cheap shameless Plug  ;D ;D) the 2011 Quarzsite Rally In Arizona ( some time in Jan, date to be announced )and meet it's new owner Matt and see it in person. Until then, here are a few pix I took during our rendezvous @ Rail Road Pass Yesterday to hold everyone over til then. DAMN GOOD Hamburgers Clifford!  ;) ::)  ;D ;D ;D

Wish the pix had turned out better than the way they did :-[, but overcast sky's are a rarity here and I could not pass up the photo-op.  Yeah I accompanied Matt down to Clifford's to help get it ready for the trip to it's new home. The photo's were taken back here in Boulder City.
