Clifford,

Anderson Brothers wrecking in Eugene said he had quite a few.  He could not quote a price because of not knowing the part number stamped in the flex plate.  Give him a call at 541 688 8686.  If I can help further let me know.

Van a Cummins is one of those diesel engines that CAN use the 15w 40 rotella and won't leak everywhere

If it won't go FORCE it ---- if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway

Must be hot in Albuquerque too LOL Melbo, know of one there I am looking for a friend the same guy that installed your engine is doing his but he wants too much for the plate.
I am not happy with the engine he sold him because this is one Cummins that leaks as good as any Detroit this puppy has been rode hard as they say in China you get what you pay for

What is a Cummins? They are developing a "drop in" replacement for our old 2 strokers that basically just bolt up. Same rpm's so you don't have to worry about gear changes. They require less cooling and develop over 500 hp, initial tests show them getting 12 miles to the gallon. And the big kicker is the price. The government will give you 5 grand to upgrade if you speak Spanish and have more than 6 dependants living in it. I got a tape to help me out but all I can say is ola and see so far. The wife says no on the dependants however so I may have to work on that. Oh yeah.... another word. Adios!!

Once they get it set in there it is easy for the change to any take out cummins --- I like my engine and since I had the ZF done I like it too.  The wiring the plumbing the engineering etc was the big part. I took mine apart after they did it and put it back together. Was simple enough --- they did all the hard work by my experience.

P.S. It just matches the 8V71 for power so it is a RIGHT LANE  up the hills but a solid ride

I don't where he gets those engines but he sells cheap and his labor is not bad but he gets you on the extras.
