Just wanted to publicly say "Thanks" to Gumpy for taking the time to show us around his coach. Took the family down yesterday, expecting to take an hour or two to see the bus and what he has done with it and get some ideas. When we got back in the van to head home, we were surprised that we had been there for 5 hours! Time flies when you're having fun, I guess. Anyhow, we learned a lot. Unfortunately, I'm sure I will have to learn it all again as we were on systems overload and not sure how much I will remember by the time I will need it.

Thanks again. Anyone else traveling near him, he is very knowledgeable in many areas, and his willingness to give of his time and expertise is greatly appreciated.

I Told ya not to go down into the basement with him!

Guess I misinterpreted you.  ;D   Definitely worth the trip, though.

Mike,

Not public thanks was necessary. I enjoyed having you and your family down. It's good to see you asking questions before jumping off the deep end. I realize I threw way more at you
than  you could absorb, so feel free to email or call with questions any time.

Dallas,

I can't imagine why anyone would consider me a hero, and especially someone who's never actually met me ::)   And just to clarify something... I'M NOT FROM THE CITIES!!!  I just happen
to be living near them for now....  but it's temporary!  Got that???   >:(

Yeah, and we never made it to the basement. Probably a good thing or they may have had to stay the night.

Hi Goumpy,

Not a HERO? Look right below your name and above the 5 stars. It reads "Hero Member", so I guess its official.

Good for you!

Well, we spent plenty of time in the basement of the BUS, but not the HOUSE. My wife, however, did get a tour of the house and she was back while we were only 2/3 of the way done with the basement of the bus. And we forgot the sleeping bags, so its probably a good thing we finished when we did!  :D

Thanks again.

Criag,

Few things give more satisfaction than recognizing another's accomplishments and qualities.  You are a SITTING DUCK and we all will continue to use you for our satisfaction.  I will, anyway.  Happy birthady whenever that is.

I got the tour and have found a friend with Craig and his wife. The bus world is like my flying world I have met  good people in both. So KUDOS to all.

BK,

Thanks for the welcome. As has been mentioned, we had a very enjoyable time. The most important thing we learned is how much we have to learn. ;)  The professor and assistant professor were both a pleasure to meet, and hopefully got us off on the right foot with our future education.
