that is much less than a seated coach of that vintage and appears to have raised roof...

Clifford,

I am shocked and disappointed.  I thought for sure that you personally knew this bus.  Did it sneak by you, or did you simply ignore it because it has a Series 60?

Nope don't know that one Lin but you can bet your last buck if it was a good buy Martin at Texas Coach in Pipe Creek Tx would be all over it right there next to them. And you are right the 60 series don't impress me much

Read all the ad Bob he says 43 ft and 7 speed Allison in one place and I would not take the 72000 miles to heart either

He has no idea what he selling 30kw generator and a 600hp 12.7 that is a big boy, it does have a extra band like you say it has a raised roof wonder if it is a factory raise something just doesn't look right with the top band

Chances are the roof might not be raised ...above my side windows there is 14 inches with the raised roof..the more I thought about it I made a mistake...If it were a 40 ft passanger coach it would come with a 400 hp 12.7 60 series the xle and xlmth were 470 hp...could be angle of picture...

Looked at this today and in fact just got home from looking, It was placed on consignment at this place and the ad was placed from information the dealer got from PO. It is not any of those things. What it is is a 1981 LeMirage with roof raise. I am not sure what the generator is because I could not get it out far enogh to look at head. I has a 4 cylinder zex something diesel(Read Chinese) The powerplant is a Very sick 6V92.  Blows black and blue smoke even after running fifty miles. With pedal on floor would do 55 on flat land and went downhill with ant hill.  Temps ran at 190 and tried to go higher but kept shifting down to keep RPMs up. Generator started with out problems but only one of four roof tops cooled at all and that not much. Has some rust issues around side windows Drivers windshield with large crack large rock chip in passenger windshield. Baggage doors misaligned bags on right side do not air up Interior is worthless several vents in roof for whatever reason no longer connected to anything will have to be closed and sealed up. Batteries were shot with bulging sides were replaced with Group 31's to get started than had to jump solenoid in battery compartment .   Made an offer and will see how it goes. Drove very nicely except for lack of power and all the smoke. Oh Tires are weather cracked and checked and the place it was at just changed the oil and you guessed it they put Rotella 15w-40 in it.

The listing has been deleted.  The more ads I see with the hyped wording I'm so glad I got lucky when I bought my iggle, the guy was a guy by the name if Jim Schiek in wisconsin and he was as honest as the day is long, he told me everything I could ever want to know, showed me everything I wanted to see and even trusted me with the bus while I made a few payments to him, course he held the title but I had the bus and took it to a different state, michigan.  Jim converts and sells buses and I would buy another one from him in a heartbeat, he likes iggles and had several of them.  He even showed me listings of other buses from other dealers so he made sure I was aware of the fact that buses were all over the place, not just in his yard, he even told me about Bus Conversions magazine.

rwc

Yeah it was sold but the guy couldn't drive it through SanAntonio so he took it to an RV repair place left and cancelled the  check he wrote for it. It is now back at the original place because I drove it there  for the trial drive.
