The NC Bus-Nuts Gathering 2010 has started.[/color][/b][/i][/u][/size]

Early arrivals started Wednesday afternoon.  5 others arrived today.  All have had a great time renewing old friendships.  Supper together and then it was quality visiting (lots of talking).

It will be a weekend of R&R.

If U R in the area it is not 2 late to join in the fun & fellowship.  Very layed back and enjoyable.

   We just arrived back in Mayodan, NC after enjoying this wonderful rally.  11 coaches and some great comraderie and delicious food.  We are already hoping to make next years Bus-Nuts Gathering.  A big THANK YOU to Gene & Frances Lewis for setting up this rally.  Jack

Yep!  Terri and I had a great time too!  Got home about 1:30 today.  With all the good food could not have eaten another mouthful over the weekendl!   
In spite of AM showers today, the weather was perfect for 3 days! 
Completely enjoyed all the company and helping solve the world's greatest busing related problems! 
We're headed to Mt. Airy for a "fiddlers convention" June 1 thru 6.    If anyone is nearby, stop by!
Still cannot get over how well our old MC9 steers with the new Michelins!

Its not often that you find a dedicated group of people(some coming from hundreds of miles away) that can share & relate as well as we did!It was a nice relaxing time,& we made some memories.I appreciate the work of Gene & Francis,and others who volunteered. Phyllis & I made it in without any problems with the ole NJT,& put her out to pasture(the bus,not Phyllis!)

The Bus-Nuts Gathering 2010 is now in the history books!  WOW, What a time!!!

As for the 2010 Bus-Nuts Gathering it was a tremendous success.  All the goals that were set; making new friends, renewing old acquaintances, R&R, comparing notes, kicking tires, showing off our coaches, telling tall tales, laughing at and with each other were exceeded!  Oh Yes, the food was delicious to say the least.  This group of Bus-Nuts ate REALLY WELL!!!

Yes, we even had a side trip to Harbor Freight and lots of good laughs!  U would have had to be there.

There were 11 coaches in attendance consisting of Eagles, GMs, a Prevost, NJT MCIs, an Eagle NJT and a Flexible.  Each were shown with pride. 

My personal thanks to all who attended - YOU are the ones who made the 2010 Bus-Nuts Gathering the success it was.  You are special and I cherish the friendships we have and look forward to spending time with you again real soon.

The 2011 Bus-Nuts Gathering is on the books for May 20-22, 2011 Mark your calendar and plan to join us!  Space is limited.

I talked with Vern today and he said they really had a great time.
