So I just helped GaryMCI5 out a bit, I hope, with some info on the older Ross box.  My bus has been upgraded to the Sheppard box and I don't have a section on that in my manual...  Can someone look up and synopsise the maintenance and lube recommendations for the sheppard box for me?  I tried to download a manual but the sheppard site is not working so well.

Here is a big question for me right now - with the bus off the ground at the front (both wheels off), engine off (no power steering) - how stiff should the steering be?  Pinky stiff, finger stiff, or two hands stiff?

Thanks, Brian

Bump to the top.  No one has an MCI manual that mentions, in passing, the integral steering box that they all had post 1982?   No one can describe the right feel that this type of steering would have, in terms of stiffness, with the wheels off the ground and the power assist off?

Give me some love, guys!     :o    ;D
