If you go to Chevron's website you can locate the local distributor who usually has or can get Delo 100 - just picked up 2 pails @ $12 per gal - FWIW

As I have said before:

"Exxon XD-3 40wt is every bit as good as the Delo 100 and much easier to find.

I chuckle at those who think Delo 100 is some sort of magical elixir and they will go to the ends of the earth to get it. Delo 100 has reached some sort of overrated legendary status amongst the bus nut group. But, if it gives them warm fuzzies as they pour it in, and that's what they like, then that's OK."

what is the going rate per gallon?  I don't have a problem switching from 100 to whatever. Since it fits the ash requirement the almighty dollar will be the decider.  I now have an oil distribuotr that can order 100 for $11 and some change if my memory is ok this morning.

We paid just over 11 bucks a gallon for Rotella T40 at a local oil distributor here in Abilene. That was last year, I'm sure it's gone up a bit since. They had Chevron also.

I paid $8.69 a gal for Exxon last spring in '09. Last fall I purchased a 55 gal drum bulk and got it for $5 gal. Shop around and try to buy from a distributor and not a retailer.

I've been running Rotella 40T for over 20,000 miles now. Napa has it in their warehouses. We've got some two strokes here in the neighborhood so the local store keeps usually six gallons on hand.
