I was just notified by one of his family that Roy D. Stracener of Rancho Cordova, CA passed away.

They chose not to give information to place in the Final Arrival board, stating that he didn't know many others in the hobby.  But I feel it is good to mention the loss in case some of you did know him.

How sad!  :'( If you ask me it shouldn't matter if he was known by one, none or ALL! He deserves to be remembered in the Final Arrival as he was a BUS NUT period. But I ain't got no dog in that race!
And my prayers go out to his family!

Jack, I totally agree, but still think of it as sad that the family would not/does not wish for him to be remembered here among other busnuts.

May I add to Jack's post. While we may not understand the reasons, we accept their decision.

Still, for those who knew this man, it comes as a loss.
For those, like me, who did not know him, we grieve for the family, because any loss still hurts.

My prayers for you all.

God full of mercy who dwells on high

as all his family and friends
