I used some of my original bus window latches to latch my trays when I built my first battery box. I also used them on my pull down ladder inside the bus. They work great.

On my slide out tool box tray, I just drilled a hole through the rail and frame and inserted a 1/4" bolt which I had attached a small piece of fluorescent light hanging chain.
Just pull up the bolt and slide out the toolbox. With the bay door closed it can't go anywhere anyway, but the bolt keeps it from rubbing against the bay door.

Those look fantastic. Well done to find and make them work so well, and look so good.

Dealing with me, it is required.

Crown,

Nice work and some good finds at the salvage yard.

Finding those Rollon bearing's was a "super find" for making slideouts.

I want to go with you next time........ ;D

Busted Knuckle

I'm with Craig on this I'd drill a hole and drop a bolt or pin in place to "secure" them!

By the way nice job!
