In the February 2010 BCM there is an excellent article by Dave Galey entitled "Who You Callin' Dipstick?."
Reminds me of a "Dipstick" experience where my oil level dropped and my coolant level increased. This was caused by a cracked oil cooler in my 4106 and required an exhaustive cleaning of my cooling system.
At that time Dr. Dialbus was practicing on the pages of BCM and came up with this solution: "There are a number of cooling system cleaners and flushes that are available to clean up this oily mess inside your cooling system. I have used several, but I highly recommend #7 Cooling System Cleanser Heavy Duty—manufactured by BORDEN, INC., Columbus Ohio. You will need to use four 10 ounce cans to properly clean this system and you must follow the directions exactly. I would also recommend changing your coolant hoses if the contamination has been in the cooling system for over 20 hours of operation."
