operating temperature

Good morning
On Mt 1970 MCI7 i run a 8v71 with exhaust turbo and a 4 speed automatic the transmission has its own cooler and the engine has two radiators
there is a temperture sender and read out for each radiator
What should my operatingtemperature be ?
What is to cold for the DD8v71 and what is too hot

If anyone knows where i can get history information on this bus The vin is #8350
Any help would be grat
