Busted Knuckle

I think if you look real close you can see Sonny Gray and Jim Shepherd discussing the merits of electronic vs. mechanical engine installations.

;D Keep SMILING it makes people wonder what yer up to! ;D (at least thats what momma always told me! ;D)

BK, but funny! ;D  We just had dinner with Jim And Pat and i told him about it as he has been busy and not seen it yet.  Larry,  they park everybody as they come in, have some bushes to contend with. That bus belongs to Larry who is the Rally host and is parked that way so everybody can easily find them and so there is room for people to gather for the coffee and doughnuts in the morning, and right now the music show is set up in front of the bus.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

Yep.  Sonnie and I have had several discussions.  Indeed, I called him before the rally and told him either he put a hex on me, or he has been right all along.   :o

Sorry - no shots from the highway Lonnie.

There was a potluck prior to Michael's performance last night.  I thought Larry was nuts when he decided to go ahead with it in the early afternoon but the weather held and we had a great time visiting and eating.

Then Michael entertained us for about an hour.

Sometime during the evening this showed up ..........

And yes, the other one is one of the Embree busses.

A couple more from last evening.  Bus-Yoda finally showed up and was immediately surrounded:

... meanwhile Larry finally got a chance to relax and enjoy the evening.  Well done Larry - it was a first rate rally.

BOTN,
In post #16, there is a bus with a black mask over a white body, with what looks like a KW right front door. It is the one just to the foreground of the flag pole in the background.

The windshield has a bit of a slant to it. Just looks different, But I like it and the fabrication to install the side door. Unless this is a OTR tractor unit stretched into a conversion, Not unlike the wonderful unit TomC is constructing.

Great Pics, I got to give up this FT work thing to join you all on the road.

Bob,

First class all the way, I felt like I was participating, This has been the very best rally updates I have ever seen.

Thank You,

John

I was nervous that someone would show a pic of a bus under 16 years of age on the bus porn site and we'd get in trouble!! Just don't download any of Busted knuckles pics and you should be ok.....

Gary if you follow the link that John posted I think the "coach" you are referring to is at the end of that thread.  And yes it is a truck conversion.  The owners said it had been an entertainer conversion that they gutted and redid but I didn't see inside it.

Thanks John,
That is the one. Very spacious and elegantly done inside, simple & clean outside. I am assuming it is still a COE with the rad out front, unless it is for the genset. If the engine is still upfront, that makes for one long DS. Looking at that immaculate white toad, it definitely is not a DD 2 stroke pusher.

Thanks Guys Great Pics !!

I have posted all of my Quartzsite pictures on Picasa.

I also finally got around to resizing those initial three pictures so you can actually see them.

To those of you that I finally got to meet, it was great to put a face to the name.  Those of you who didn't make it there this year really need to put it on your calendar for next year.  The Eagles International chapter has agreed to host next year's rally - same time, same place.
