Southern Route on I8...advice please.

Looks like we are going to take the "hilly and snowy" route of I-10. LOL I didn't even realize that we took 40 until I looked at the map again...lol.

Interesting story, Will. We might end up coming back on 8 at the end of the trip.

John, unless you have a need to go to Phoenix I would take I 8 over to Gila Bend then 85 over to I 10 about the same mileage and a good highway with out the Phoenix traffic.
Holt's in Gila Bend is a good fuel stop also free sewer dump and water easy in and out.

Thanks for the tip, Clifford. Actually we are rolling now, and we are going to go to Phoenix tonight, and park at Cabellas. We have some shopping to do in the morning, and then we are heading out later in the day. We are hoping that with the holiday there won't be much, if any, traffic.

John, about the only people in AZ that do the Martin Luther day are the feds employees that day is one most in AZ have a problem with it that was a battle here for a long long time before it became a state holiday.
Fwiw I don't have a problem with it only thing that closes here are the Federal stuff and my bank will be open today .
