That call informing you that someone has hit your vehicle.
I have not seen the damages yet, but they hit the right rear side which is where the transmission sits.
The side that is sitting low due to being stuck in the mud.
Also the side where the air dryer is.
Even just cosmetic damage could be expensive, as they did tell me the tail lights are mangled and the rear engine door is hanging. The person that hit it tried to tie it back up. How thoughtful, but next time leave a note.
It is insured and if it needs to be taken to a repair facility, if there is one close by, at least that would solve the issue of getting it unstuck.

I know the feeling. My Explorer was hit and run on New Years Eve. $2300 damage. $500 deductible out of my pocket. And now my insurance rates will likely go up so I'll get to pay on it for a long long time!

Sorry about that, Adarian. That is too bad. Hope it is an easy fix.

God bless,

Adarian, does the facility have closed-circuit TV monitors - with tape?

Last May, my wife and I were on a 10th anniversary trip to NYC.  The first night, as we were getting on the hotel elevator to go to dinner - the phone rang.  It was the guy who'd backed into our 4107.  Basically, smashed the whole front end - driver's side.  The coach is still in the shop, it took a while to get all the parts assembled, and I'd told the shop I was in no hurry (now, a mistake because the insurance claim has been open so long).  They've finally just started to work on it.

So, I do indeed know the feeling of that phone call.

Gumpy, it would have probably been cheaper to fix it yourself, if it's anything like up here. Repair cost are so inflated when going through insurance and then we have to pay through extra charges on drivers licences etc. I did over 3000 to my bike and just bit the bullet and fixed it. Ins is a waste of time up here.
The bus is the cheapest to insure, something like 450 bucks for a 20000 value, the bike is 1600 and we get warm temps here every three years for all 2 weeks of the summer, hmmmm maybe I'm the idiot??
