For those of you who want to add a turbo to your 4104:

Perhaps some useable parts. The opening bid is cheap enough

Bob;

That is a right hand engine, it also has no jake's and it looks like it may have been in a fire.

Don,

Yes, I was thinking of it as a source for turbo pieces, not for an engine swap :).

He's only about 100 miles from me. If no one bids on it I may go take a look at it for my '69 Freightliner.

HB of CJ

Way back then I worked summers for the Yosemite Park And Curry Company and I THINK they had a GM 4104 with a turbo, intercooler and Jake for the run from the Valley Floor up over Tioga (sp?) Pass, then up North to Reno and return.

Pass elevation about 9950 feet.  I drove the run twice on relief.  The Jimmie ran very nice at high elevation.  The Jake worked great. Had a tack, boost and  pyro gage. 2400 rpm. HB of CJ (old coot) Long ago and not soos far away. :) :) :)

Well, it sold for $510. More than I was willing to pay.
