Country Coach Announces Asset Auction

December 29, 2009
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Troubled RV maker Country Coach has announced it will begin auctioning off its assets in the new year.

The announcement comes after a federal bankruptcy court ruling. The court ordered Country Coach to auction off all its assets including debtor-owned equipment, inventory and furnishings.

The auction is set for February 4th, 2010 at Country Coach. All the proceeds from the auction will be used to pay off the RV maker's pending debts.

Haven't heard anything about a list, but they did mention previewing 9-5 on Feb 3rd, the day before the auction. Happy New Year, Will

Saw a couple of Country Coaches headed south on tow trucks today (north of Sac someplace), on looked pretty complete and was on a lowbed, the other was missing some side skins on the slides and was on a tow hook. Both tow trucks were yellow and I think one said "Big Bad Wolf" or something.

Also got an email from a vendor selling a lot of new aluminum wheels, $29K for the lot (forgot how many) said they were 22.5x8.25, but looking at the picture I don't think that is the size. Says they probably fit buses...ya think!
