We would like to change out our shower to a very small bath tube.

Right now we have a 48" wide shower, we would like to change this out to a small bath tube. Any ideas would be appreicated.

You can find small tubs at Bontragers, I bought a 36 inch tub for 25 bucks from them, they also carry the ready made surrounds for about 30 bucks.

Freinds of ours have a claw foot tub in their Eagle www.vintagetub.com  you can see his tub and shower at www.eaglesinternational.net but it cost a little more than 25 bucks

The claw foot tub Clifford mentioned is pretty neat, has an oval shower rod that fits the tub. If my wife would have seen that she would make me tear out our current shower.  We don't have room for it, which is a good thing!

It really is a great idea, tub and shower in one.

We have a small tub installed now. I am getting ready to rip it out & install a shower only. It's a shame we can't wave a magic wand & swap 'em! LOL We used it some in the beginning but not so much anymore. If you boon dock it take too much water..... and we can use the space for storage and a washer/dryer combo. Since we started full timing, we found several things that looked like a good idea but didn't work out.

If the need and desire is for a tub, Go for it. They are most relaxing.

I am 6'5", laughing out loud, trying to picture getting my sorry butt up out of a 36" tub. Maybe a davit to swing in an do the P/U...
