Brando, I know Don won't agree but I would go for the 6v92 turbo Don likes 71 series and I like 92 series huh Don and I do like the 71 series with a turbo

Looks like Wildbob has saved the day! Going to pick engine assy up tomorrow.

Brando, glad it is working out for you my heart breaks for you guys when these things happen and you had the worst possible failure that could happen to anybody.And it would be a very expensive repair

I do like the 71 Series. An 8V71TA is far superior to the 6V92TA. However if the ^v92 is what you can get in your price range then go for it. You wont be sorry
