Anyone in Texas looking for a bus I saw a clean MCI 9 on I 35 between exit 292 and 293A at a car lot in Belton Tx for sale.
The price was right if the engine and running gear are good and of what I could see of the conversion

good luck

If you are talking about the red and white one it is a 1981 with conversion already almost done. Wood work not finished engine does not smoke on starting and roof top airs work. Needs tires Gas Onan generator needs work.

Thats the one RWC I did notice the Onan and the fenders missing.I been here for 4 days and it is still not setting down or leaning pretty good for a MCI looks clean from the outside.

Grant:

We missed an MCI 8 at the MPI salvage tender last week. It had been vandalized (spray painted) inside and out. According to the Salvage Yard manager (?) it had been on layup insurance for a year when it was vandalized. 8v71, 4 speed, poor tires.
Sold for $500.01

Maybe next time...

I looked at this bus and it does start without smoke Tires need to be replaced ONAN need to be rebuilt probably too small anyway No rust to speak of. He was asking 27500 when I talked to him. Not what I wanted so I did not try to bargain.
