We have been up there, and it was very different (to us anyways ;D). We really enjoyed the experience, and now we don't need to go to France to get the cultural experience (never wanted to anyway ;D). It was great, and the food was good too.

Now, let me end by a great French joke. Did you ever hear about the French tank? Well it was......for the sake of friendship, I will end right there ;D. BTW, you want some good banjo jokes for Americans, I just posted them in the jokes thread.

God bless,

John

John316,

About those Frog Pussies.....  In WWII the Germans launched their Blitzkrieg or lightning War.  They went thru Southern France with ease but never fully subjugated the Frogs there.  In Northern France, where the Frogs actually had some tanks it was a different story.  Out gunned and out manned and fighting with inferior equipment....the Frogs stopped the Blitzkrieg in it tracks and kept the Germans pinned down/fully engaged for something like two weeks before surrendering.  It never ceases to amaze me that we here in the US think the Frogs are a bunch of Pussies.  Not according to history.  The French and Germans have gone to war with each other a hundred time over the centuries and the Germans have only won one single war....ever.  And I am a KRAUT....born and bread.  I read history books on occasion, however.

"The Arms of Krupp" is a superb read for those that have any interest.

Yuppers, they did do a good job, however, things have changed some, and the problem is that there are so many good french jokes (I am glad that I won't offend LeMirage because he is a French Canadian).

Yup Le. That I'd one reason I don't have a problem with french canadians. I also liked Quebec a lot more than going over to see frenchy himself. Only thing that I didn't like up there is that you all don't know how to make pizza. They didn't have real peperonis, just some imitation sausage stuff. I didn't complain though, because I knew you all weren't Italians ;D ;D ;D

God bless.
