All you need to do is set a date, give advanced notice, post in on the board, email all of your bus buddies, they'll email their buddies, you get the idea.  ;) Try to set the date so it doesn't interfere with dates for other bus rallies, plan way ahead, sit back and we/they will come.

As far as no electrical hookups, no problem as most of us can boondock, crank up the genset and kill dem skeeters!

Remember, it only takes two buses to have a rally, anymore than that just increases the fun you have and more lies are told.

Sounds like you have a great spot, you just have to let people know you want to hold a rally and it will happen.

Paul

My wife and I talked about it today and we are excited about it.  I am headed to Vegas in late spring so maybe early spring we can set a date.  The only thing that would stop us from doing it is rain.  If it rains we are going to have a long rally because there will be no getting out.  It is bad enough in a regular truck.  You don't bog down it just gets slick.  Anyhow we can do this.  We can BBQ or fry a bunch of fish for Saturday night.

How cold does it get down there? Maybe summer, or winter would be some better when it might not be so wet. I am just thinking that for us, anyways, spring is usually our wettest season.

Just thinking out loud.

God bless,

John

You are right about the spring rains.  Maybe we can plan it for the summer but I have to warn the northern folks, it is hot down here.  Early February is nice though.  It is usually dry early that month and the weather is better than the smokin hot summer.

The weather is like a crap shoot in Texas, you never know what you are going to get until you get it!

You just have to plan for the best possible weather history and go for it, if it rains and gets muddy maybe have a plan B location. We really lucked out this year, last two years we held it in September, very hot and sometimes muggy or getting the leftovers from a hurricane.

Remember, last weekend at Christy's Jersey Roundup it was cold and rainy, then we have beautiful weather the next week, you never know.

Whatever happens it's all good, we bus folk now how to have a good time regardless!

Paul, Brenda here.  Can you send to our e-mail address an e-mail with all of e-mail addresses for TBR.  I thought I picked up a sheet that everyone signed.  We aren't on it, I think we must have missed it, I got one, can't find it, so I am not sure it is TBR but feel like it is.  Alot of good it does me if I can't find.

Chuck and I worked on my/our e-mail Saturday and I lost some of my addresses.  My fault, not Chucks.  Thanks for all for all of the help Chuck.

Thanks,
BB

Brenda,

You're right, can't find your name on the Help List either. Just slap me next time you see me. I'm sending a corrected one out.  :-[

Paul, looks like you had a great rally, maybe next year we can hit it, just too many irons in the fire for us this year but we were thinking about you guys a lot.

Dreamscape

Cody,

Sounds good to me, will be looking forward to meeting you guys.

We've already started planning for the next one, this time I have lots of help to share the load. I just thought I could do it all, not anymore.

It was a great time, always is when you get to make new friends and see all the toys! ;)

Great Rally Paul,

I wish I could have gone.  I would have set up somewhere on US 75 with a UT flag waving at all the OU fans heading back home.  Go, Horns, Go.

Here's one I have to share, it was sent to me by Brenda Britt and Mike Crouch (Sanity Fix).

Their nephew did a few fly by's, great picture for someone zipping by in a nice fast little plane.

I about fell off my chair when I saw it, what a shot!
