Well, things have improved a bit since my last post...

Looks like I'm getting another bus this coming weekend to replace my poor burnt out hulk...  I was originally going to repair the one that burned, but time, cost, my health and financial difficulties have forced me to just replace the bus.

The "new to me" bus is another 4905...  I've negotiated a purchase price of $6500 with the current owner.  The bus seems to be in good condition and is partially converted already...  It's incomplete, as it lacks a shower...  But, it is livable..  It still has the OEM bathroom...  So, I'll be ripping that out and putting in a "regular" bathroom and holding tanks.

Anyway...  the animals are doing well.  They seem to be unaffected by what happened overall, which is good...  The new cat has adjusted quite well.  He's also grown a LOT.

I'm looking forward to getting on the road and getting back to work.

That is good to hear.  I thought that once some time passed you would decide on another bus.  Good luck and keep us updated!

Congratulations and good luck with the new bus.  I hope that the very first thing you do after taking possession is to replace your avatar.  I'm tired of looking at that ugly thing. :(

Lol...  I'll replace it shortly, even though I don't have the bus yet... How's that?  :p

A delay has come up and I can't go get the bus for another two damn weeks. Ran out of cash for gas money. x.x

I'll be sending certified checks to the seller for the purchase price and just go pick it up in about two weeks. No idea when we'll be getting more $ from the insurance company, I'm having to borrow the money from my parents just to go get the damn thing. I have nothing left to sell aside from the burned out bus...

I think I'm going to start stripping what I can use off the coach in the next couple of weeks and putting the rest up for sale as a parts bus. It's the only way I'm going to be able to move forward with getting the bus ready to live in and getting back on the road for work...

So... I'm now hurrying up so I can wait longer! x.x

Ah well...
