Busted Knuckle

Well we found 54 Acres of mostly graveled and fenced in property w/ several shop sized lean to style metal structures that could be enclosed and made into nice shops. As well as a 200' by 30' shop with 10 18" wide X 14' tall doors (yeah I said 10 of 'm), a house that has been converted to an office, and a double wide trailer as an office/training unit.
The house & double wide are in the only area not fenced in along with a large paved parking lot. But the fence goes in along the parking lot and across and back out to the road, and could very easily straightened out across the front to enclose the whole thing.

It has about 6 power poles with breaker boxes and wiring to hook up demo units (mobile homes) which could make a nice area to have busnut parking spots.

I am thinking that we could set it up where there could be long term sites, temp sites, short or long term storage area amd even a shop for conversion woork once we get set up to roll!

Just wondering if we'd be able to expect any visiters or helpers?

Just thinking out loud at this time!

Paul, now to make it perfect, wouldn't it be nice if somebody opened up a sawdust piling shop there, just think, hook ups, and sawdust and good people, does it get any better?

Dreamscape

Cody, that's a great idea, except my extension cord is not long enough! ;D

Yes, I do agree it would be a great place to set up shop and make sawdust or whatever else needs to be done. At least there is a mechanic on board to help with mechanical work, like engines, transmissions, axles, wheels, brakes ..................................................... ;D

A one stop place, park it and work on it, and the advice is available for a price! ;)

One of the items under discussion at this point is the possibility that libby and I may move our sawdust operation to tenn for the winter months to help Bk and his parents with the move and develpement of their new bus home, the new parcel under concideration has tremendous potential and I think we all should encourage BK to spend his money wisely in whatever way that would benefit the bus community as a whole lol.  Just think how nice it would be to come for a visit, pull up to your power pedestal and shut the bus down knowing that you're among fiends ( correct speeling? lol)  Pull out a lawn chair and we could kick tires and lie about what fuel mileage we get, a geriatric bus haven mid way between florida and michigan, life would be so great.

Bus conversion is DONE, and now the home for full-time travel.  Look for me parked in front of your house.

I would be very interested in hanging out there for a while.  Please, Please don't throw me in the bus-nut patch Brair Fox.

Not sure if I'd be an asset or just set on it. =)

Well it's uniamous around the officew we all like the Henry, TN property!

I don't have the cordinates at this time, but will see if I can get them soon.

We are due to meet with the realitor on Tuesday and make an offer on it!

We have since learned that there is much more to it than we 1st thought! (I'm a bus person not a land surveyor!)

Come to find out the huge fenced in area is only 10-14 acres the other 40 others are row crop land under current lease. (wow I had no idea that the fenced in area wasn't even a 1/4 of it all!)

Anyway looks positive so far, we'll keep ya posted.

For those of you who know how to zero in on property and such it is the old Champion Homes property on Atlantic Drive (or rd, st, ave, etc.) in Henry, TN. The plant was destroyed by fire, but the out buildings had lottile to no damage.
