I have to have an inspection for the title work on my bus and the State Patrol couldn't find the VIN number.  Does anyone know where I should have him look?

I'm not sure on your 15, but on our 01, not only do we have the plate, in the rear A/C compartment our VIN was stamped on a tag rivieted to one of the steel tube supports on the left side facing the engine.

Might start there until one of the Eagle Experts can chime in.

Can you hear me Clifford? ;)

I think Clifford and Sonja might be in jail  :D ;D. Last I talked with him,He called from Flagg, seems Clifford And the Wifey were there attending  the Tea Party Express rally.I even saw them on the fox news channel that night during a live spot.I remember He said a bunch more Iggles were showing up, and I could hear their Detroit's wailing away,Gee I hope they didn't get busted again LOL!

Chad, on our 15 the welded vin plate is in the engine bay, look down on top of the right side engine rail horizontal towards the very rear . Don't know how clean yours is ,but might have to scrape around abit, good luck

There is also a link to the production numbers at the Eagle site, General Ealge Chat. I do have a more complete list if you can't find it there. Either way let me know so I can add your name along side of your VIN#.

The VIN on the title is 1EUBN6A16JB07182.  We can't find anything on the bus yet.

You may have to purchase a set of dies and stamp the VIN number on the frame in a couple of places.  As the officer will probably want to see the VIN number on the Coach not on some piece of paper.

SmoothJazz

The later model Eagle's had the 17 digit VIN number stamped in the A/C compressor mounting plate. Prior to that, they stamped just the serial no. (last 5 digits) in the frame tube just to the right of your engine compartment as you open the engine door. Also, I think your last five digits should be 70182 and not 07182.

Chad,

This is as close to what Dan suggested I could find.

Which does not match what you said it was, double check and get back to me.

Paul, that's what i came up with also. There were no 07 numbers ,just 7000 series , Maybe when Clifford returns he will have more on it. ;)

I have a copy of the title and I went off what they had written on the file.  The copy is bad, but here goes.
I think the VIN is:

1EUBN6A16JBO70182

They claim it was for Jefferson lines and then it was used by Sunrise Medical Laboratories for a tour of the country to sell microscopes.

Only difference is the 6A16 but close, hmmmm.
