I tried my decoder app (Itouch), but it said that the vin was incorrect. Sorry, I couldn't help. Your vin is probably fine, it is probably just my app.

Anyways, I heard somewhere that there are no "I" or "o" in a vin. It would always be one or zero. I don't remember about what the rest of it said.

God bless,

John

Clifford,

This bus was actually a Model 10 Eagle. The Model 20's were introduced in 1988 after they discontinued the Model 10. The bus in question was actually built by Trailways Mfg. Inc. in Harlingen, TX and had a Mfg. No. of 84-035. All Model 20's had a serial no. that started with 9.

Dan, I had model 10 in the post at the first and removed it and put model 20 sorry it is early in AZ and was going to change it and forgot but I show 31316,31317,31318, and 31319 going to GSA where do show the 4 going it was gave to me by another person and I am missing  some of the info did they have ZF transmissions. And I also show a 6v92 with C60 injectors that I find strange but spending 4 days at the doc's office I can't walk and chew gum today for you guys with high blood pressure I will trade some low 88/43 even      LOL

Clifford,

You are right, they all went to the General Services Administration (GSA) on 10-9-84. I am not sure whether they had ZF transmissions or not.

Boy one day I will also have one of those decoder rings to help me figure things out. You guys are a great help in keeping the info on the straight & narrow. Thanks from all us newbies :-*
