Dieter is the name of our bus.  Lisa named it in the first couple of days.  She said, "big strong and German" its got to be Dieter.  I was really happy she didn't say Arnold.

Mine has been "TOYBOX" since I had my 4104 (1986).

Before that, I traveled extensively all over the country in my job.  My travel trailer at the time was called "Destiny's Plaything"

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

Sofar...Sogood  came from my standard answer when anyone asks how the bus is coming along. At first I would explain what I was doing and why. That was usually met with blank stares and confusion. So I just say so far so good.
Also, she has gone so far (about 3 mil. miles) and been so good...Cable

I wanted to call our bus "Miss Jones" as in "Have you met miss jones". jazz standard tune.  Great lyrics, very appropriate.

"And then I said, Miss Jones, you're a girl who understands
I'm a man who must be free.
And all at once I lost my breath, and all at once was scared to death,
And all at once I owned the earth and sky."

Thanks, Frank, Robbie, and Ella, and of course, Messers. Rogers and Hart.  If that's not driving a big old bus across the country, I don't know what is.

But it hasn't stuck.  My wife calls it "Big Red", after BB Kings tour bus in the 1950's, only problem is it isn't red.  Does have a red star on the side, though...

Our bus was named "IGGY" when We got Her!  We have renamed Her "fuelish Pleasure" a name We got from Bob and Deb Baldwin when They decided to leave Dreamcatcher on Their bus.  Some of the other names are not good for public airing.  I was soaped up in a Wally world parking lot and when I needed water I heard the pump quit and I came up with a few interesting names, LOL.  Regards John

"Endeavor Is what the destination sign reads now! My wife and I have been on the rd 2 years w/ a 5er and it's been one hell of a trip! figure if things go as well(Sarcastically) with the bus it should be one crazy undertaking!
