Larry,

I am right behind you Buddy.  One down and one to go.  I have diabetes also and mine went for 6 years before it was diagnosed so it got the jump on me.  Good luck with your situation.  Sounds like you "saw" a lot though.  Me too.

Hello:    sitting in park at hermosa ND.  going to go to mount rushmore tomorrow..   3000 miles on the cummins with the upgraded pump and averaging 7.44.     ran across 90 today from souix city to rapid city used 43 gallons for an average of 7.8   ran between 65 and 70 most of the day..fairly flat running   around 1600 to 1700 rpms .   she smokes some when I hit the throttle from a stop but if I ease in very slowly she is ok...
   Bus is fine at the moment and will visit here for 3 or 4 days then head east and south to st louis ..  looking for steam trains on the way...    from the road....

We may meet. I'll be heading west to Seattle on I-90 as of Tue or Wed in my 4104 with a big red stripe.

Badlands Park has a nice place to overnight on the east end of the road which makes a loop through the park.  It is dry camping but very scenic and the lodge is nearby.
