Emergency brake release air fitting MCI 7

I understand that the schrader valve in the tool compartment is for emergency brake release.  Will that valve also fill the rest of the air system, or does it come in after a check valve?

The emergency fill in the outside compartment under the driver's position will fill the parking tank, in order to charge the DD3 system so that the parking portion may be released.

The regular check valve on the inlet to the parking tank will prevent that air connection from filling anything else, if it is functioning.

The fill connection on the discharge muffler in the curb side engine access will fill the entire system.

Thanks BW!  That's what I thought as I looked at the book.  I knew that the rear one would fill the whole bus.  That's how I put water into my air system!

Also just a note if it has "air-locked luggage bays", then there will be 2 schrader valves in that compartment! Be sure to air up the correct one!

FWIW when I hook one up for towing with a tow truck I run the air hose in the driver toll window and out the bath room window and hook it up at the rear drain port to "air the whole bus up!"

I don't know if the bus has air lock bays, but the advice for running the air line through the windows is very helpful!
