does anyone have a source to relocate an oil drainplug for my gen without removing the pan?

I don't know if this will help you or not. A PO had installed a hydraulic hose with a solenoid on our Onan. He installed it at the plug, it's long enough to get to the bay door, power solenoid and drain the old oil into a bucket. It works pretty slick. If it was on a slide it would be much easier.

I've got a hose on mine too.  Its just a piece of fuel line with a plug in the end of it.  I put it on because the P.O. was apparently content to let the genset oil puke out into the compartment.  I'm not sure whether he just left it there, whether it eventually drained out onto the road or whether he swabbed it out with a squeegie but it was a crude affair however he handled it.

Its the last thing but its still on the list.

I too keep a hose in the genset compartment for the purpose of draining oil

An elbow and a jug makes it easy to drain

If it won't go FORCE it ---- if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway

On the extension theme, I've seen some nice metal pipe extensions, with a threaded plug on the end of the hard extension.

happy coaching!
