Hi Folks,

We are trying to get more folks to join the list so we can cover the whole Country.

This is a Free service you would provide to a fellow Bus Nut that is in needof help.

This is something everyone might need at sometime. And not all bus members

have access to the internet while traveling.  This sign up sheet is available on Cruiser Magazine's web site!

Here is the link to the sign up sheet, http://www.cruiser-magazine.com/Help_Assist_List.html

And here is the Help Assist List: http://www.cruiser-magazine.com/Help_assist_data_base.html

A big Thank You! to BCM member, Dave Siegel for providing this listing on his site.

The accuracy and therefore usefulness of the list is suspect.

I signed up on it when it first came out. My information is now incorrect due to several job changes. I've been trying to several years to get it corrected or removed, but have thus far been unsuccessful. The link for corrections at the top of the page doesn't seem to work, and the last time I checked, there was no way to contact the owner to get it fixed.

Thank you Craig - I tried last night to make a correction to my information and had the same problem.  I would also be afraid to trust the information on the list for that reason.

The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you.
Its the last thing but its still on the list.

I never signed up because I'm not a mechanic and don't know the first thing about a two stroke engine.  I also don't have any space to park another bus.  If the housing market ever gets better I might be able to actually to sell my house and move some place with more land (and a smaller house to take care of.).

Dave Siegel

Thank you Nick for those kind words.

And to those two fellows that have been disappointed in trying to update their information I have sent them an individual private message of apology and I offer this apology publicly.

I have had some challenges this past year but I feel I am past them now and can pull the Help Assist List up to date quickly now.
It happens that we are on a business/vacation trip in Memphis this week (7/13 thru 7/19) and I am using my wifes computer so I can not make any changes to the list from here but I will make these changes and new additions Sunday 7/19 as soon as we get home.

There is a form on the Help Assist that sends me a direct e-mail, but if you feel more confident in a direct e-mail please send me your information to: davesiegeldesignsATgmail.com

As of 12:30 pm Memphis time:

I have been able to upload my entire site to my wife's computer and therefore able to make changes, so all of the problems have been repaired and all of the additions have been inserted. Please check your name and let me know if there are any errors or additions that you would like changed.

Thank you all from on the road in Memphis.

Hey,

Great Idea - I just signed up...  I figure it is the least I could do for all of the advice I've received from the group!

I have heard it said, "life comes at you fast".  I didn't know it would be in the shape of a bus  :-)

Dreamscape

Thanks Dave for this valuable tool. I signed up several years ago and just tried to modify some information, it won't let me. I know you are working on it and sent you a private email.

Now if we could get a couple hundred more to sign up, that would be great! ;)

Thanks again everyone for the encouragement. ;D  I have been working on correcting the broken links and I think I have them all working now. Dreamscape just wished for twoo hundred more to sign up well since Nick revived this subject there have been about a dozen signups a day. That's great. I really hope that this is a useful tool for those traveling.
