Since Xantrex discontinued their best has anyone tried Victron inverters

To the chagrin of many of us who have and cherish the former Trace inverters particularly the SW2512 and SW4024, Xantrex has discontinued them all.  I've seen data on several Victron inverter/chargers that offer most of the key features but need more de-rating over temperature.  Does anyone have any experience with these?    http://www.victronenergy.com/inverters-chargers/quattro/  At least they do offer the ability to use battery power to supplement a small shore cord but it looks like it's more of a chore to set up than with the SWs.  They also have the neutral bonding relay inside so they appear a bit easier to install.

Jerry, I have been talking to marine dealer about those units as I noticed on my son boat he had one I guess the are popular for marine use. 
I see the units at marine shows along with some new battery technology that I wont get into here on the board.
I am interested because where the guys knows or not he is mailing some literature and a wholesale price on a 12 v 5000 w unit. I gave up on the others telling me they were coming with one.
I what a single pure sine so I can do away with the stacked MS Traces I have now.
I am concerned about how many watts they use for their operation  good luck

Jerry, I've been hollering for years about the lack of support that Xantrex provides for anything over a few years old. As far as I'm concerned, they are the most worthless, money hungry corporation in the business. They've bought up and closed at least a dozen other inverter, charger, and solar products in the last few years.

Sorry for the rant, but it looks to me like all they want is the money and no competition.

By the way, this is only my opinion, not a condemnation of any company place or person.

The Victron people are very proud of their products.  Per a yacht salesman friend the 5000 watt product is $5200.00 list.  He didn't remember if it was 12 or 24 volt.  My friend is very high on Victron and says they are "pure" sine wav

He thinks Xantrex is bottom tier and wouldn't rely on them out in the ocean.  Junk is his opinion.  He also thought he could buy the Victron for less than $5200.

Magnum doesn't make a load sharing inverter and nothing over 2800w in true sine for the 12 volt.
I am getting a lot better price than 5200.00 for the 12v 5000w Victron. 
I still have a few questions for Victron people, if you have questions about their products best place I found to answer them is their rep in Houston she speaks English well sort of with a little Dutch.

I don't have any direct experience of using Victron products but I did have a very good look at them myself, especially as they are obviously a European company and therefore distributed much more widely here than Xantrex stuff is. I got the impression that Victron build a top-notch product, but at what to me was a prohibitively expensive price. Their focus seems to be very much on the industrial and OEM marine markets rather than selling to consumers, although they do have retail distributors.

In the end I scored a UK-spec Heart Interface (ie. Xantrex) Freedom 25 on Ebay at a killer price (I don't think anyone else knew what it was). What I do when it breaks down, though, I'm not sure
