Rear Camera Housing

Does anyone know where I can purchase a fiberglass or aluminum rear camera housing? I have looked on the internet and I find lots of cameras but have yet to find a good housing that can be mounted on the rear of my coach. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I bought a plastic dryer vent at Lowes for $5.00 and removed the vent pipe. Painted it to match the bus and it looks great!

You guys should make the pod water ,dust proof and a bond a piece of glass into it makes for easy cleaning from the ground you can clean the glass not the camera just my way good luck

i just bought a vintage cushman taillight and plan on using
that as my camera housing there are many cool things
you could use i allways look out side the box or make
things john

Looked today for the housing I had for sometime, but no joy, I must have cleaned up and tossed, sorry.

I used a Carlon electical box. I cut an opening in the cover and installed a piece of clear Lexan. A bracket was made from a scrap piece of SS flat stock. I did have to put a piece of tape across the infared LEDs to keep them from reflecting off of the Lexan "window". Jack

Boy some of you fellows are really ingenious. A Cushman tail light, an electrical box? How did you even think about using those?

Gary, thanks for looking, I appreciate your efforts.

Not sure what I will do. Don't have any idea where I would find a Cushman motorcycle that I could rob the light housing from. I like that idea?

I appreciate everyone's replies and Clifford/Paul I phoned R&M and they are sending me the fiberglass unit to evaluate.

Ours is just straight mounted to the back of our bus. We got the three camera voyager system (we plan to add another camera to the trailer when we pull that). Using that camera we don't need a shroud. The hardest part is keeping the lens clean, which is rather tough.

By installing the camera inside a box with a clear "window" for the camera to see through, any water and/or dust is further from the camera lens and seems to cause less distortion. Also fairly easy to clean the "window". Jack
