The detailer has finally started on the polishing on my 35year old bus.
Lots of work left, but the PoS pile of stainless comes out looking pretty good.

Mark,

I would like to see your pictures better.

Try resizing close to the max allowed for better clarity.

Having trouble with resizing and posting the photos...but got 1 posted on here....it really doesnt do justice, I know the photo is a little 'grainy'.

A local lady with a small detailing shop is doing it as she can fit it in...she's pretty busy with her regular clients (Hmmm.,...sounds like we're talking about somethin else here...lol)

The headlights and triple marker lights are (apparently) sort of original equipment.Another busnut said that MCI had several '7' coaches altered when new, and equipped with '8' caps, windshields, and rectangular headlights.  These buses were called MC-C or MC-7C coaches. This may or may not be correct, bit the steel framework in the front end roof of the coach is definitely not factory, and I originally thought this coach had been in some sort of a front-end collision.

We'll be at Sprucewoods Kichimanitou this weekend, in the group camping area with a bunch of other folk if you make it that way...Im sure I can find an extra icecold beer or 2.

All the best.

Mark

Thanks for the history Mark, I had no idea, looks good. We'd love to come up there this week-end but we are planning to leave on our real maiden voyage this week-end. We did go to Grand Forks about a month ago for a trial run , so know we are planning on going to London , On. Leaving on Saturday. Keeping my fingers crossed that everthing goes well.
I sure like to get someone to polish my BUS as well, haha . I'll have to look you up after it's done.
Have Fun!!
