Are truck tire warranties worth trying to collect on?

I've heard that truck tire warranties are very difficult to collect on. 

I have what appears to be a bulge on the inside of one of my inside dual tires.  Pretty hard for me to have hit a curb or something there.  Is it worth it to try and get this covered under the tire warranty, or do I just buy a new tire and move on?

I have Firestone FS590 Plus tires and the warranty is prorated based on wear after 10% wear or after the first year.

Brian, we had a FS590 with a similar problem the tire was less than a year old when I noticed it and a call to my dealer and a quick trip over there the tire was replaced no questions asked and no charge

I use to go to the Brad Ragan dealers no matter where I was in the midwest. Even though they were the Goodyear dealer, I had very good luck with them replacing my junky Firestones and dealing with the distributor on them.

I can't go back to the selling dealer as they are in Virginia and I am in Minnesota.  No way was I going to drive 1,600 miles home on the mismatched set of junk that on the bus at purchase time.

There don't appear to be any Brad Ragan Tire stores in my area from what I can tell.

I suppose it is worth at least trying to get the tire replaced under warranty.

Where did you find this?  I couldn't find a website and dexknows.com didn't find any Brad Ragan Tire in my area.  I'll have to contact them tomorrow.

hmm, I found it in my favorite place.... Google...
I typed in "Brad Ragan Tire" (without the quotes) and Poof! it was the second listing.

I used Google, but I overlooked the second listing I guess.  I was trying to find a website for Brad Ragan and didn't expect to find a Minnesota location on Google.

I don't understand why companies don't at least have a website listing locations if nothing else.
