Where can I find a used/rebuilt running 8v71 engine asap? I'm from ND and can't seem to find anything online.

Jack Conrad has a running takeout 8V71.  I believe that he's only asking about $500?   That would  be without bell housing and related accessories.  
Jack C will see this post and respond.  If he stll has the engine??
The engine is listed on YouTube...I'll have to post a link. later.

Awesome, I hope he see's this post and still has it. I need to get'r back on the road ASAP and hopefully can build something better in the future.

There's a rebuilt 6-92 Turbo in Cortland, NY that I didn't buy last winter.  I could probably track down a phone number for it if I really put my mind to it.  "Terry" is the guy's name but that doesn't narrow it down a lot.  Let me know if it is worth looking for the phone number.

How much work is involved in doing the swap? I haven't got a lot of time at the moment so i'm looking to just get it back on the road until I can build something a little more modern. Do you know how much he was asking?

Where in ND are you located? I live in MN now but used to live near Michigan, ND and I'm up that way periodically.

Just a minor detail - what bus make/model are you in need of an 8V71 for?

Reason I ask is that one from an GMC will not work in an MCI , unless you want four speeds in reverse.

Try calling a guy named Rodney Monk in Fargo. his number is 701 seven nien nein seben tewe for ate.
He probably doesn't have one handy, but he has more connections than AT&T has phone lines. If there is a decent one nearby, he'll know about it.
