flexible solar panels

These are cool panels. They measure approx 16" X 56" each, I have three. (32 watts/1.94 amps each) They put out approx 5.8 amps/96 watts altogether in the noon sun. I mounted them to the roof at the rear of my MC 5A. They put out the same wattage as the rigid ones in about the same square footage. I screwed them into the roof with plenty of silicone. Two years use now and running strong. I'm running two Interstate 6V golf cart batts.(model # unknown) My 12V use consists of lights,two fantastic fans, and the furnace. I have no inverter or converter yet. (previous owner removed and sold all that). These panels keep up with our use from mid March to mid Sept. The rest of the year I use a 2 amp charger connected 24/7 to keep them up. I have only needed to add water one time.

They make one in 24V. I have no experience with them though. They do have a 5 year warranty and appear to be bulletproof.

I looked these up and they appeared to have about half the efficiency of the solid panels. The only way this will matter is if a person wants to generate more power than there is room for panels on the roof.

In that case, the solid panels would be needed. They're good for around 100 watts a square yard.
