This certainly depends on how many people are usually in the bus. In our case, it is usually only the 2 of us, so 1 bathroom os adequate. Our design is THIS BUS IS DESIGNED FOR COCKTAILS FOR 6, DINNER FOR 4 AND SLEEPS 2  Jack

Just to clarify, the question is not about having two toilets or one.  The question is more about a center aisle or side aisle design for the bathroom.  Basically putting the shower, sink, and toilet in one large room like a stick house or having the toilet and shower split into two rooms on either side of an aisle.

PO put in a side aisle, that was one of the selling features for us.

We are having a side isle in our coach, my wife and I looked at both and don't like the center isle after staying with a few friends in their S&S. We are both under 6' so it works ok. I have a 36X36XX72" high shower unit bought at Home Depot, porcelain rv toilet and a vanity, we are also keeping one window exposed for natural light, the window will have a shade and frosted glass so as to not let viewing in during the day. The bathroom will have a protrusion in one area where the refrigerator will be built in on the kitchen side. The refrigerator will actually sit in the center of the coach. Like everone says, what ever works for you.

Interesting posts. My friends Marathon is Set up very similar to Seans and I think it is a great layout. I am in the process of planning mine and I will have the head and sink mid ship. I am considering a shower basically in the master bedroom. I could use it as a hanging closet for wetsuites aswell.  I found that the shower was not used a whole lot in the past, we are not a full time family.

Anyway, my only real concern is if someone is sleeping in the back while traveling. In an accident that person would end up in the glass shower - not a pleasant thought.
Ok, it's time to go on another road trip.

Lin,

I think my folding/accordion doors probably came from HD and are just wood looking plastic. They came with the bus.

They should be easy to replace if damaged. They take up very little space and are magnetically latched. My theory is to make the doors as simple as possible and these certainly are that.

The magnetic latch doesn't hold while underway so I added a small hook from HD to hold it when we close off the rear when underway using the AC. Otherwise the doors stay folded 99% of the time.

This is really a subjective choice!

But my opinion is: two on the bus one is fine, more than that I would have two.

We put in the toilet/sink in a seperate compartment/center isle, works good for the four of us.

I also like the fact I can vent just that room and close the door.....if you know what I mean.. ;) and still go from end to end in the coach.
