Hi, everyone.
I am new to the bus world, so please be patient with me.
I have a 1966 flxible bus converted into a motorhome, my wife and I thought it would great for the kids. Does any one have or know where to get information on what I have and where to get parts? The model is 411gdc2 with a 504 cummins and an allison trans #tr3161a.

Thanks to all in advance.

Welcome to the insanity!!

I'm sure there will be someone here who can tell you more about your bus.  If you have a photo we would like to see it, as it may spark some interest in what you have.

Welcome to madness.
Somewhere out there there is a web page with some good tips on brake upgrades etc for flxes.  http://flxibleowners.org/ (found it).  This board is awesome and I'll say the same thing I always say, if you like reading read all the threads starting at the beginning moving forward
http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?board=1.9500
this will give you tons of troubleshooting and problem solving info re: buses in general.

I jealous.  Sure wish there was a similar group for GMs.

Charles,

GMC owners are too independent to have any thing as fancy as the Flx site or the Prevost Prouds or the Iggles Red Zone  ;D ;D

OK OK, it's NOT because we're too independent...
We're too cheap and too broke!
The closest thing we have is the Yahoo free web group..

Both the Cummins 504 and Allison iron case 6 spd have been out of production for many years and parts are getting hard to obtain-not even mentioning working on the old 504.  Good Luck, TomC
