They are still the best driving bus on the road. I have not had mine long, it probably wont be as easy to work on as my my three 4104,s. Although the Eagle is the Best looking.

The one picture of the engines shows a turbo.  Can I assume it is a 8v71ta?  I have the hots for a 8v71ta and wonder if they do not sell if the one bus might be attainable.  Anyone want a bus free minus the motor and tranny?  John

You could always build a bridge out of the shell once you've pulled the motor and trans.

Prices are way down...or so it seems.  There's an H3 for $20K on eplace.  Item 260357599099    Must be a real rag.  It has a 6V92T so its under powered.
Also a C3 listed that has an L10 and manual transmission.  But that puppy has  a big rust out in the area above the rear wheels.
Got $18K on the listing.. someone has bid $5K.  The bus probably will require major fabrication due to rust.  I've never seen a rusted out C3.
There's also some "'94" 102A3s listed.  Must be an old hound or something.  They have 6V92s too.  I'm unaware of any other '94s with two strokes.
The market is bringing out some odd stuff.
Has anyone looked at the MCI D (C ?) listed in BCM's classifieds?   Has some mistakes in the add...like '50,0000' miles on the engine.  Is that 50K? or 500K.   Got to be something wrong with the bus.  A "D" in good condition with an S60 for $35K?  Sounds like a deal to me.
One of these days I'm going to buy a 102" wide shell and strip out my conversion stuff and build one more.
YO. I just found my new BCM...the ad sez it's a '98 C3...otherwise same as I described. Still has the '50,0000' mile engine. I'll assume the engine has a good many miles and maybe the transmission and diff were recently rebuilt.  How many miles does it take to wear out a diff?  If that thing was on the Right coast, I'd go look at it.   ::)

I wonder...Could the fellow that bought Sam out, could these be his? He just said that he was selling their buses...

God bless,

An H3-40 with a 6V92??  Why not just put a three cylinder Kubota in there?  No wonder the first auction winner backed out after he drove it.  Actually, I didn't think they put anything but 8V92s or Series 60 in the H3, but I guess I know better now.

The engine looks real nice, but who knows if it is a spray can rebuild or not?  No overspray so I suspect the engine was pulled.  There is new copper so maybe the engine was rebuilt, but the new copper could also be to make it look nice.
