If I put 9g90's in a 84 6v92t what should I time them at,the manual does not show 9g90's in a 1994. What have others timed them at 1465,1470 any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

I bet Geoff knows.

I went through the DD Field Service Data book and it only lists the 9G90 for the 6V92TA, TT, TTA and TAC.
Setting for the TA was 1.464 and 1.466 depending on what else was there.
I think you might get a whole bunch of smoke with those injectors, no matter what you do.

My information says set them at 1.466   Dallas thinks you are going to smoke-- you might, but not if you have a throttle delay or fuel modulator, and a big enough turbo.  You may already have all this, I know my '82 RTS 6V92TA with 9G90's doesn't smoke and it has the stock turbo.  If you have a throttle delay, you should consider upgrading to a fuel modulator.  The difference is a throttle delay slows your rack from a dead start/idle, while a fuel modulator gives you approximately 3/4 rack travel from a dead start/idle and allows the rest of the rack travel once the turbo boost comes up.  A much better design that gives you instant power with no smoke and you don't have that irritating lag of a throttle delay lag when you are trying to get going.

Thanks guys, I better look for a fuel modulator, mine has neither a delay or modulator.
