Well I went ahead and added some photo's to my conversion site!  I'm probably finished until after Thanksgiving I'm doing honey do's before the Holidays!

The only place left to put siding is the front 1 section there and to finish where the rear cap comes down and is short about 1 darn inch!  Not sure what I'm going to do there!  I could use some suggestions! The door for the generator has to be sent out to be water jetted for the cooling louvers!

Two OEM doors to hang on the drivers side and 4 doors to build!  The roof is sealed just in time for the rain this past weekend!  I had one leak above the drivers side windows in the salon area!  I'll have to find that guy!

4 more side windows to buy, if Curved Glass has them they have been waiting on a delivery for the last few weeks!

I've been building walls for the bathroom area, I have the rear wall finished and the bed support is finished also! I'm working my way out of the rear to the front! This working in a heated area is nice!   No tarp for the bus this winter, I might as well see where any leaks (if any more) appear!

I also have most of the duct work for the heat pumps in the only thing left is the transitions from the unit to the duct work!

The photo's are located at the site below help yourselves, if you see anything that might help speak up!

If one of the nice moderators would move this to the bus section I would appreciate it!  I didn't realize I was in this section I rarely even come over here...........Thank YOU!

Mud,

Forget my envy of your financial resources, your skill and talent really get me.  So very well done.
I think you are on your way to building a million dollar coach.

I would share one piece of my experience, which is so very limited.  I rebuilt the roof on my ancient Winnie.  Using wood I had to install that fabric roof and coat it with latex and "Cool Coat".  I live in Eugene and we get lots of rain and everything mildews.  I have to scrub my roof every year with Tide and Clorox bleach as it gets ugly black every winter.  It also "bleeds" white stuff down the sides from the rain.  I had no choice, due to the wood, and I am happy with the product but it is a maint item.  At my age I can't safely care for it and I hire that work out.

If I had a metal roof, I would seal the seams with "Auto Seam Sealer" by 3M.  Great product with a track record.  I would paint my roof with a high grade auto paint like Emron in a pure white color.  This will give the same heat rejection as Cool Coat is getting that from its white color.  The auto paint will reject mildew, I think, but it will wash easier and not need repainting for many years.  You can paint it yourself outside in the early(no wind) morning.  Yes, any horizontal surface will have dust specks in it and be ever so slightly rough but it isn't seen and you will save a ton on having it done by a shop.  My humble 2 cents worth to a guy that is doing a superb job that i wouldn't even think about doing for lack of skill.

John thanks for the compliment!  I'm looking into that seam sealer, you bring up some great points about bleeding!  You mentioned you're two cents worth, well that kind of information and idea's that these boards bring up it what makes it so great!  You can't beat experience!  Thanks again!

muddog16.....Yes this should be in "on topic" for other bus nuts to see and learn and share ideas.

And it good that you share your project with us with photos that came with 1000+ answers.

Keep up the good work and posts the update.
