Hello,

My name is Gary, I run a non-profit organization for children. We recently picked up a used propane bus that had no seats. I am trying to locate some transit seats, possibly with seat belts to install in the bus. I need 16 of them.

Our facility is located in Austin, Texas. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Gary

Gary, it might help to post what kind of bus and maybe some photos?

The bus is from the San Antonio Transit System, it is a 1994 GMC. It was a handicapped bus, there were only 3 seats in the bus. I need to find some paired seats for each side of the bus. It is similar to the transit buses the hotels and rental cars companies use.

I am removing the wheel chair lift to reduce weight.

I will get some pictures and post them.

With measurements, my mechanic is telling me it will comfortably do 16 seats.

I do not think there is any tracks down, we looked at school bus seats, I have plenty of those. However, I wanted this bus and the future one's we purchse to be of higher class.

I will get pics and post tomorrow.

Thank you for replying.

Gary, I imagine you already know this - but, just in case - remember that 16 seats or more, including the driver, requires a Commercial Driver License.

Yes sir,

We had a fleet of buses, I just sold them. They were school buses, trying to move more towards a better looking bus. My employees all have CDL's

I am moving to purchase a new fleet, but convert them to CNG instead of diesel. Really hurt my business over the past two years.
