I have some sad news (at least to Tami and I) Our bus was totaled by the Insurance Co. yesterday and they will be picking it up on Wed. We spent the day pulling our personal items off and thinking of a lot of good memories. To paraphrase Gen. McArthur  (I shall return to bus ownership) Well back to my sulking.......

Well Nick,

On June 27, Omaha had a F-2 Tornado come through and the result was.... our bus looked like it had all the paint torn off it like a sand blaster, demolished the front a/c and filled the front lounge with rainwater.  All the years of hauling country music artists up and down America's highway's the storm was just too much for it.  The EJ is in the insurance companies hands now.   Looking forward now to purchase a new Eagle or maybe, possibly, kinda sorta, thinkin' maybe, even an MCI.

See you all down the road through my car windows.
Thanks, Robert at www.tamihall.com

You have my sympathies.  I hope you will find your new bus soon and be back on the road again.

The rainwater must have really done some $eriou$ damage.  It doesn't seem like a paint job and an AC would get anywhere close to totaling it.  Granted, a really deluxe paint job might, but not an average paint job.

Best wishes on rising from the ashes.

Well, you can never replace memories, but if every cloud has a silver lining.... you get a new bus !

Bummer  :(

Make a list (& check it twice  ;D ) of all the stuff you really liked about it, & another list of the stuff you wished was different.

THEN - decide if you want to buy that one back & "rebuild it"

If not, the goodbye may be a little easier . . .

AND, you'll have your new bus list already started.

Good luck with your silver lining.  ;D  8)  ;D  8)  ;D  8)  ;D   8)

As I was wandering around the Craig's List,  I saw this listing. 877681570.  Looks like it could be a bargain. Must state all the usual disclaimers,  " I know NOTHING" about this bus.  LOL
