Hello Everyone,
I hope he will not be angry with me for posting this but I feel it is important for us to know that one of our family members will be having back surgery on Thursday, October 28, 2010. The time is yet to be determined by the Operating Room. He is a very private person and that is the reason I hope he will not be upset I have posted this. If you could post messages to him to encourage him knowing he has hundreds if not thousands of busnuts pulling for him. His name, (Fred Hobe), of Florida. I have mentioned times before if you have not taken the time to meet and visit with Ole Fred, you should make this part of your Bucket List!! One fine fellow.
Anyhow, I hope those that know him as I will send him their best wishes and prayers for this medical operation he needs for comfort, every since his fall a couple of years ago off that MCI he was working on the roof of.
Fred, My prayers for you are special for Thursday and now here are messages from those that will be thinking of you all day until we get word you are in the recovery room doing fine. Best of luck my Friend, Get well soon.
Thanks Everyone,
Gary
Fred, may God guide the surgeon's hands and bless you with a fast recovery. The bus nut world needs you around for a long time to come.

Hello Everyone,
This is an update on Fred's Operation. I did not get to talk to him personally but he left a message a little while ago on our phone, (HE IS HOME ALREADY, FEELING BETTER, NO PAIN IN HIS LEGS ETC. ) But a little under the weather. You talk about a tough ole dude, I was in the hospital for 4 days re cooperating with the same surgery. Goes to show you, now you know why I look up to ole Fred.
I am happy to give you this update, I will talk to him tomorrow when he is more alert or I am!!. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts today for Fred, I know he will thank you when he gets back on line. I can't believe it!! Same day home!!

Hello Everyone,
I talked to Fred a few minutes ago, he is ecstatic, he feels great. No pain in his back or legs and says he is ready to work on buses!! He is quite the guy, I am glad he is doing fine. He did say if anyone is having back pain such as he had he highly recommends for them to go to the clinic that did his surgery as it is world known and so successful. They specialize in Sports Pains etc. Fred said to Google (TOC) which when the menu selections come up click on "Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic". You can read for yourself as to what they do and the success rate for treating. If Fred says this then I listen and hope anyone having back pains will also research this place as Fred did.
Anyhow, I hope this information can help others and thanks again for the prayers and wishes for Good Ole Fred. Be sure to make it a point on your bucket list to look him up when in Florida.
Gary
