Tony don't take my word for it! But to the best of my knowledge ALL ATEC computers are 12 volt! As to what wire where I don't know for sure! As time goes I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable folks like Sammy, JR, Steve and others will chime in and help ya! ;D  BK  ;D

Tony,

I have prints that Sammy gave me.  The problem, I'm not at the bus.  Will be there tomorrow.  I should be able to tell you what is 12vdc and ground.  Provided the hook up is the same as a 741.

My HT748 has a separate ATEC computer in the front bay. It does not just connect to the DDEC stuff. I will look in my manuals and see if there is anything that shows the wiriing.

I have a detailed .PDF file of all the connectors from my Allison V731 /  ATEC  / DDEC - tranny - ATEC - shifter-etc

I believe that the major connections will be the same on your HT 4 speed vs my V731 3 speed

But your email addy is hidden (just click on my id and send me a poersonal mesage with your email addy

Is your New 6V92 a DDEC - if so - I also have the TPS to ATEC device wiring diagram (so your ATEC will know the REQUIRED throttle position)

If you ain't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

Sammy

Tony, how many connectors are on your ATEC ECU (computer)??.
There will be either 2 or 3.
There are 3 types of ECU's, I gotta know what you have.
Here are some basic connections for a 2 connector style ECU.
J1A (Bus harness side)connector on your ATEC ECU:
Terminal 3A - 12v battery power, protected by a 5amp inline fuse.
Terminal 2B - 12v ignition power, "live" with master switch "on".
Terminal 1A and 1B - ground.
Let me know what you have, send pics  if you can.
Happy to help.

tony

...Sammy's the man on these things!   :)
For S&Gs, are you repowering with a DDEC engine?   Or are you installing a stand-alone 748ATEC?
